Welcome to our Coffee Training Course!

Whether you're a beginner or an advanced barista, our coffee training course from highly qualified barista Malcolm Hutt is perfect for anyone who wants to learn more about the art of coffee-making. With his 26 years of experience, Malcolm offers at home training for people with high-quality domestic machines such as Rocket, VBM, and ECM.

The course is divided into two main sections, which are:

1. Espresso Basics: This section covers the fundamentals of making good espresso. We will teach you about grind size and distribution, tamping and dosing, pulling a shot of espresso, and evaluating espresso quality. You'll also learn about the importance of achieving a good balance of milk to coffee ratio with a mouthfeel that's warm and enjoyable.

2. Milk Texturing and Latte Art: In this section, we'll show you how to make nice hearts and rosettas, ensuring that your basic latte art is done well. You'll learn about proper milk steaming techniques, micro-foam and milk texture, basic latte art techniques, and pouring.

During the course you’ll also learn about :

Equipment Maintenance: We'll teach you how to clean and maintain your espresso machines and grinders, milk steaming pitchers, and other tools. Proper equipment storage and organization is essential, and we'll show you how to do it right.

History of Coffee: Learn about the history of coffee, it sources, and bean origins. This section is perfect for anyone who wants to understand the romanticism behind coffee, no matter their level of experience.
